We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Casa Maya with kids and grandparents. The house is situated with an amazing view over the area. We spent many hours on the upstairs terrace watching the sunset and lazed around the pool enjoying the proximity of the pool to the house with little kids. The neighbours were friendly and it was lovely calling out buon giorno every morning to the farmer and his wife tending their tomato plants. We sampled cheese from the other neighbours and it was well worth calling in for. Nino was on hand to help when we had serious car issues and we felt that the people of Abbruzzo couldnt have been more friendly, helpful and kind. We will most certainly be back.

Had a lovely week here in this wonderfully located property. This is one of the quietest valleys we have stayed in.

Had a great time here at Casa Maya. So lucky to have privacy but convenience of a great base for exploring this beautiful area. The house has been very comfortable. The kids loved the pool. The fruit trees are fab – figs delicious!

Had a wonderful week at Casa Maya. Loved the house with its beautiful surroundings. Had the greatest swim of our lives in the lake below Villalago. Thanks for a great vacation.

I would thoroughly recommend Abruzzo to anyone considering visiting – it’s a truly stunning landscape. We went in summer, but I’d love to go back in the autumn and winter and see the change of seasons. Casa Maya is very peaceful and beautifully positioned – wonderful views and easy to get to the sea and into the mountains. And as for the food at Reggio Tratturo…we were truly spoiled.

We enjoyed the most fantastic restful week in this house in Abruzzo. The proximity of beautiful mountains, villages and beaches offers enormous choice of delights to explore. However the house itself is hard to drag yourself away from as the terraces are fabulous and the swimming pool great just to float about in and admire the views. Had lovely and really reasonably priced food and wine in local eateries. This is one of the few places we would come back to and we are regular travellers in Italy.

This simply furnished Italian retreat has stunning views across the rolling hillsides to the sea. It is in the mountains, but within reasonable access to the coast and ski resorts. If you’d love a taste of rural Italy this is for you. We had a wonderful family holiday visiting villages, fortresses, mountains, markets and the beach.

I would highly recommend Casa Maya as my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there this summer. Casa Maya is a lovely holiday home surrounded by breathtaking scenery in the heart of the Abruzzo region of Italy.

The house is very comfortable and is both stylish and modern whilst still in keeping with the character of the local houses in that area. It is an extremely peaceful location with plenty of surrounding villages to visit to ensure you get the full Italian experience. The pool (although may look small on the website) is more than adequate to float around, cool down and relax in.
